Bio

Anna-Kaisa Haanaho is a Finnish Designer and Artist working with glass, ceramics and wood. Check out her awesome work.

Anna-Kaisa received her Bachelor of Art and Design degree in 2016 from Häme University of Applied Sciences. After graduation she joined a co-operative ceramics studio Keramiikka Rykmentti in Hämeenlinna. Anna-Kaisa has participated in group exhibitions in Finland and in Nordic countries. She is interested in new projects and international collaboration.

Artist's Statement

I am socially and ecologically responsible artist and designer. I want to design products that are sustainable in every level of the products life cycle. It is important for me to have fun when creating something new - I believe that transmits to the end user as good energy. I love to play when creating something new and I let my intuition and coincidence guide me in the process. I am open to new ideas, thoughts and experiences. I am eager to learn new things, and like to experiment and apply new knowledge. I love to travel, and I find new places and the nature as a great source of inspiration for me.
